This was a cute little dress for my daughter and she loved it. But she only wore it once and both the sleeves came unstitched....badly. Size runs VERY small. She is 8 years old and I ordered a 12 so that it would fit after reading other people's reviews on sizing. But in the end, it didn't matter. The dress literally unraveled after one weary.

We looked many places for a beautiful Chinese dress for our daughter and either the dresses were too expensive or poorly made. We were absolutely thrilled with the dress here. Customer service was outstanding, as well, as the dress runs small and we needed a larger size. My advice on this dress is to order one or two sizes larger than she normally wears. Also, this dress matches the American Girl Ivy's dress, which also thrilled our birthday girl. THANK YOU for carrying such a well made, beautiful, and affordable dress in which she feels like a princess. We will undoubtedly order from your company again. Please continue carrying the Chinese dresses, as there are many girls who like them.

My daughter was absolutely beautiful in this dress and she loves it!!! It did fray a little around the neckline and hem, but I'm willing to bet it was just a one time occurrence type thing! Whether it is or not, this dress was so much better quality than the one in the mall than cost twice as much!

Ordered this for my daughter's piano recital and we LOVE it. My daughter is half Asian so she likes to wear Asian styles, which can be hard to find. The dress is a gorgeous color. However, be aware that these dresses run about two sizes smaller than most American dresses. My daughter is usually a size 10, we ordered a 12 and it was fine. She is very petite though, and this dress is cut for smaller frames, so even going two sizes up, may not be enough for larger frame girls because it is cut so petitely. Also, we have had these dresses in the past from other places and all of them are very delicate and must be treated as such. They are not really made for running around on the playground or heavy laundering. But we LOVE it!
